Charlotte, NC (January 2, 2021) – Around 2:35 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, January 2, a car accident occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Barringer Drive and Clanton Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
