Charlotte, NC (February 16, 2021) – At 9 p.m. on Monday night, February 15, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Catherine Simmons Avenue and Beatties Ford Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
