Charlotte, NC (December 19, 2020) – Around 6:26 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, December 19, a car accident occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Old Plank Road and Brookshire Boulevard. Police confirmed that the vehicles collided forcefully after entering the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were seriously injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
