Charlotte, NC (April 23, 2021) – At 8:23 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 22, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Rozzelles Ferry Road and Valleydale Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people were transported to the hospital with severe and life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
