Charlotte, NC (March 3, 2021) – At 9:45 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, March 2, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Whispering Oaks Drive and Brookwood Road. It is believed that two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
