Charlotte, NC (April 9, 2021) – At 1:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 9, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Freedom Drive and Berryhill Road. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
