Charlotte, NC (May 16, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, May 16, a serious car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of John Kirk Drive and University City Boulevard. Two or more vehicles allegedly collided after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
