Charlotte, NC (December 13, 2020) – Around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday evening, December 13, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Savoy Corporate Drive and West Arrowood Road when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. It is not known if the other party was found by police.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims who remained at the scene of the accident were injured as a result of the crash. They were hospitalized as a result.
The intersection was blocked in the area for some time until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
