Charlotte, NC (February 15, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, February 14, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Richland Drive and Craig Avenue when two vehicles collided with each other. Few details have been released but police confirmed that one of the vehicles fled the scene of the accident. Police have not yet said if they caught the driver responsible for the accident, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
