Charlotte, NC (March 28, 2021) – At 2:25 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, March 28, a hit-and-run accident occurred on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the collision happened at 115 East Carson Boulevard when one vehicle struck another and then fled the scene. Police did not say if they caught the driver of the other vehicle. The vehicle that remained at the scene sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
