Charlotte, NC (December 21, 2020) – Around 3:10 p.m. on Monday afternoon, December 21, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident occurred at 9841 Rocky River Road when two vehicles collided with each other. According to authorities, one of the vehicles immediately fled the scene following the accident. Police did not state if they caught the responsible party.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision where they assisted those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time following the collision.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
