Charlotte, NC (November 27, 2020) – Around 12:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, November 27, a hit-and-run accident occurred on a roadway in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident occurred at 4217 Sharon Road when two vehicles collided with each other. Police claim that one vehicle struck another and then immediately fled the scene of the accident. They did not say if they were able to find the party responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time following the accident.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
