Charlotte, NC (February 19, 2021) – Around 4:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, February 19, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mount Holly Road and Rhyne Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that one vehicle collided with another and then fled the scene of the accident. Police did not say if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and hospitalized as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
