Charlotte, NC (April 21, 2021) – At 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 21, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Wilkinson Boulevard and Donald Ross Road. It is believed that two vehicles collided with each other, one of which immediately fled the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
