Charlotte, NC (February 5, 2021) – Around 7:40 p.m. on Thursday night, February 4, a hit-and-run crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 2808 Central Avenue when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene. Police did not confirm if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries from the vehicle that remained at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
