Charlotte, NC (January 6, 2021) – Around 3:51 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 6, a pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Harris Boulevard and JW Clay Boulevard. Police stated that an unidentified pedestrian was walking across the intersection when they were struck by a passenger vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. The pedestrian was the only person injured and was hospitalized. Their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
