Charlotte, NC (February 21, 2021) – Around 7 p.m. on Saturday evening, February 20, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of US-29 and Caprington Avenue. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided with one another in the area due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. Six people were injured and hospitalized as a result. Two of the injured victims were identified as children.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
