Charlotte, NC (January 16, 2021) – At 5:15 p.m. on the evening of Friday, January 15, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Idlewild Road and Flintridge Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles collided in the area after they entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those in need. The injured victims were hospitalized. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
