Charlotte, NC (November 26, 2020) – Around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 25, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte authorities confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Independence Boulevard and Sardis Road when two vehicles collided with each other. Photographs taken at the scene showed that one vehicle rear-ended another as they entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the right lane was completely blocked by the accident until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
