Charlotte, NC (January 29, 2021) – At 1:55 p.m. on Friday afternoon, January 29, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Monroe Road and Galleria Boulevard. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
