Charlotte, NC (April 5, 2021) – At 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 5, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Monroe Road and Summey Avenue. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
