Charlotte, NC (January 18, 2021) – At 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials responded to the scene of the crash, which took place at the intersection of South Wendover Road and Providence Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident occurred when two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. An investigation into the accident continues.
