Charlotte, NC (November 22, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Few details have been released but Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Sardis Road and Monroe Road when two vehicles collided. It is believed that the vehicles collided with one another when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
