Charlotte, NC (January 3, 2021) – Around 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, January 3, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the crash happened when two vehicles collided at the intersection of West Sugar Creek Road and David Cox Road. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the exact same time. This led to extensive damages in the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
