Charlotte, NC (November 21, 2020) – Around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, November 21, a car accident occurred in Charlotte.
The accident took place at the intersection of Wilkinson Boulevard and Ashley Road when two vehicles collided. Though few details have been released, police confirmed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided forcefully, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the crash at this time.
