Charlotte, NC (February 23, 2021) – Around 3:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday afternoon, February 23, a car accident occurred in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Pecan Avenue and Bay Street. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
