Charlotte, NC (December 8, 2020) – Around 4:47 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened on Sharon Road in front of the South Park Mall in Charlotte. The busy intersection was flooded with traffic at the time of the accident. One of the vehicles, identified as a white sedan, had severe front-end damage as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
