Charlotte, NC (May 10, 2021) – At 1:05 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, May 10, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hateras Avenue and Irma Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
