Charlotte, NC (March 17, 2021) – Around 3:10 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 17, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Barringer Drive and Remount Road. Two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection, though one of the vehicles immediately fled the scene. Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
