Charlotte, NC (May 3, 2021) – At 3:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, May 2, a hit-and-run accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Oaklawn Avenue and Beatties Ford Road when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with a variety of injuries.
Police have not said if they found the driver responsible for the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
