Charlotte, NC (January 13, 2021) – Around 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, January 13, a hit-and-run accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident occurred at 2407 Julia Avenue when two vehicles collided for reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles involved in the accident immediately fled the scene of the crash. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were hospitalized for their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
Police did not say if they were able to catch the driver responsible for the accident. Their investigation continues.
