Charlotte, NC (March 20, 2021) – At 3:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, March 20, a car crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Weddington Road and Plantation Road. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
