Raleigh, NC (February 14, 2021) – Around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday evening, a fatal pedestrian accident took place in Raleigh.
Per reports from the Raleigh Police Department, officers say that the incident was reported around 7:10 p.m. along Buffaloe Road, located just west of Valley Stream Drive and east of North New Hope Road. A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene, according to officers.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene after the crash, and Buffaloe Road was down to one lane in the area as officers investigated. Old Coach Road was also closed while they collected evidence at the scene.
No further details have been released, and the investigation continues at this time.
